If you want to jump in homepage, just update your profile and promote yourself.

The Users panel now contains users with the highest profile rank and latest users.

Search User by username or real name.

We also added the ability to sort the list of users by profile, join date and username.

The first sorting option, profile, probably deserves a few more words. Starting from this release, we started to show off a ranking parameter based on how much your profile is up to date. The more information you provide, the higher is the ranking.

We have been using this information for quite a while to create some internal super-secret features, but now we decided to open it to public and give you the ability to sort the list of users by this parameter. Sorting users by profile, you would expect to view users with the best profile at the top of the page.

Do you want an higher rank? Jump to your account page and start customizing your profile now. Don’t forget to upload your picture… it will give you a super-duper boost.

If you search for a topic and your query doesn’t match any results, then you can consider writing an article directly from the search page. Just click the “Start writing an Article” button and Seshamo will bring you to the editing section and autocomplete the keyword field with your search query.

All user pages now include the username in the URL instead of a meaningless user id.

Old user profile URLs permanently redirect to the new profile page so that old URLs won’t be broken.

The migration has been successfully completed. If you encounter any problem with the new URL, please contact us.

The process took over 4 months spent creating mockups, running tests and refactoring the application. We released Seshamo 3.0 at the beginning of July with the cool new homepage and tons of new features.

First, the new homepage design puts the focus on the community. At a glance you have access to the latest articles and resources, the most view articles and the category list.

There’s also a special place called Premium User. We’ll talk about it later in a next post. For now, you should start contributing to get qualified for that award.

The profile page has been redesigned from scratch. Now you can view all user contributions, browse through users’ articles, comments and bookmarks. We have lots of community-related improvements in our toolbox, stay tuned!

Off course, we still need to upgrade this blog!

The new design is much more flexible than the previous one and we have already planned some new advanced features to take advantage. We hope you enjoy it too!

We have received many feedback about how to improve our product and we are working hard on a fresh new release with a bunch of new features: improved comunity, improved article management and a very cool homepage.
